Swiss legal framework

Ethereum security on the crypto side, Swiss rule of law on the fiat side.

On-chain, it’s enough to rely on open-source contracts and Ethereum’s immutability. Crossing into fiat needs the opposite: accountable counterparties under strong law. That’s what the Swiss side provides.

  • Contracts under Swiss commercial law. The lending agreements are real, enforceable contracts.
  • Data under Swiss privacy law. See KYC & your data.
  • Accountable founders. The founders are subject to Swiss criminal law in cases of fraud or gross negligence.

Helva’s underlying entity is incorporated in Switzerland and is a member of a FINMA-recognised self-regulatory organisation (SRO). Details are on the imprint.
